Rev Linda Mootry-Dodd
Associate Pastor for Visitation Ministries

Rev. Linda Mootry-Dodd visits those who are sick and shut-in under the credence of Mathew 25:36 “I was sick and ye visited me.” In addition, she preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ, is the devotional writer for the church-wide devotions and Chaplain Ministry, and also serves as the pastoral liaison to four ministries: Can-Cer-Vive, Emmaus Road, Healing, and Kujichagulia. Rev Linda earned her Master’s of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary of Chicago, Illinois. Rev Linda has preached in multiple churches throughout the Chicago areas as well as Cook County Jail, Homeless Shelters and family Reunions. Prior to coming on staff at Trinity, Rev Linda served as an ordained deacon for 20 years. She has worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 37 years. She is the grateful mother of Linda Joann Dodd-Rhodes and her husband Warren and their 4 daughters, Johari, Jamilah, Joy and Jazmine. Her son Pervis Michael Dodd and his wife Candice keeps her grateful to God as well. Rev Linda firmly believes “Every good and perfect gift comes from above.”
