Rev. Ramah E. Wright
Associate Pastor for Adolescents (Teens) and Women

Ramah E. Wright is a graduate of Garrett Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois, where she received a Master of Divinity Degree. Currently, she serves as Associate Pastor for Adolescents (teens) and Women at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. “Rev. Ramah,” as the congregation refers to her, has served as the co-convener of Trinity’s annual women’s conference, the facilitator of workshops and Bible classes for women and teens, and the coordinator/consultant for youth revivals, youth retreats, the Junior Deacon training program and the Youth Ministry Training for youth workers.

A native of Chicago, Rev. Ramah earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mathematics from Chicago State University, and taught high school mathematics for 19 years.

Rev. Ramah is married to the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. They served as copartners in ministry to more than 8,000 members of Trinity UCC prior to his retirement. They are also the proud parents of five children, Janet, Jeri, Nikol, Nathan, and Jamila; and the proud grandparents of Jeremiah Jazmin, and Steven Jr.

Rev. Ramah’s favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
