Rev. Rochelle Michael
Rev. Rochelle Michael is Associate Pastor and serves as pastoral liaison for the Hospitality, Active Seniors, Alama Ya Sali (Signers Interpretation), Hospitality and the Caribbean Connection Ministries.
Prior to joining the staff of Trinity United Church of Christ, she worked as Director for a social service organization. She has dedicated her life to the advancement of women and children who suffer from mental illness, domestic violence, as well as teens who are pregnant and/or parenting. Rev. Rochelle has also been an active member of Trinity United Church of Christ for 25 years, serving as an ordained deacon, Chairperson for the Nominating Committee, member of the Married couples ministry and the singles ministry. She has also facilitated bible study classes and several ministry retreats as well as being an active member of the Sanctuary choir. Rev. Rochelle received her Bachelors degree in Sociology from Northeastern Illinois University. She earned the Masters of Social Work from the University of Illinois and more recently received the Masters of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary.
Rev. Rochelle enjoys reading and quiet walks on the lake front enjoying God’s handy work.
