Rev. Tiffany Trent
Associate Pastor for Drama Ministry

Rev. Tiffany Trent joined the TUCC staff in June 2007 as the Drama Minister. The Drama Ministry develops skills and performances and is available to assist the Church School and other TUCC ministry groups with programs and presentations. Rev. Tiffany is co-chair of the Green Committee, which seeks ways for us as an institution and as a congregation to better steward God’s Earth and its resources. Rev. Tiffany received her Master of Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary. She has a BA in Politics, Economics, Rhetoric and Law from The University of Chicago and a Master of Fine Arts in theater directing from Carnegie Mellon University.
Rev. Tiffany loves swimming, finds sewing therapeutic and creative, and thinks gourmet ice cream is a food group. She appreciates what Khalil Gibran says “On Children” in The Prophet: “You can strive to be like them, but you cannot make them just like you.” She is overwhelmingly overcome when she reflects how her grandparents Mary, Realious, Claretha, and Henry tread paths for her, acknowledging God as in Psalm 139:13-14 ‘For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.’
