Women's Chorus

The Women’s Chorus of Trinity United Church of Christ is one of the six choirs that provide the ministry of music each Sunday. We are an integral part of the worship service consisting of over 200 women who sing in excess of 52 times a year, at 52 different services. Our ministry of music encourages the worshipers to leave the cares of the world behind and enter into the presence of the almighty God and worship Him for who He is each time we gather in the sanctuary. "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." Revelation 4:11

In the Book of Psalms, we are reminded and exhorted to sing and worship the Lord with all sorts of musical instruments, boasting of His love, goodness, mercy, holiness, forgiveness, and in His Sovereignty over all His creations. The Women’s Chorus of Trinity United Church of Christ strives to fulfill that purpose.

God created us for His pleasure and He inhabits the praises of His people. Worship is an intimate expression of LOVE between God and His people. Singing God’s praises is an outward expression of our inner devotion to Him.

The Women’s Chorus is like the angelic hosts who sang songs to God in a loud voice saying, "...Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!" Revelation 5:12

The harmonious melodies of the sopranos, altos and tenors extend a warm welcome to all the Saints of God in our midst to comfort the brokenhearted, heal the wounded spirit, bring refreshment to the lonely, and encouragement to the discouraged.
