Imani Ya Watume

Mission Statement

Imani Ya Watume, the teenage choir of Trinity United Church of Christ, strives to promote a spirit of love for our African heritage, while spreading the message of faith through the praises that we sing unto our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

All We Ask

• Be a member of Trinity United Church of Christ
• Attend weekly rehearsals as well as Imani’s weekly spiritual Enhancement Sessions
• Ages 14-18 years old and 9th – 12th grade
• New members must attend orientation with their parents

Financially Support your ministry

• Dues are $12.00 if you already have a T-shirt or $20.00 if you need a T-shirt

Dress

• African attire for most singing engagements
• Imani T-Shirt for outings

Monthly Schedule

• Spiritual Enhancement is every Thursday 5:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
• Rehearsals are every Thursday 6:15 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• The business meeting is 2nd Thursday 7:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Worship service performances are 2nd Sunday 7:30 a.m.
• Share & Care is 4th Thursday 7:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Other singing engagements will be announced in rehearsal
