Director of Ministry and Pastoral Services

 
R ev. Rochelle Michael researches, plans, consults, implements, and monitors ministry activities and pastoral care for Trinity United Church of Christ. She is responsible for the coordination and management of daily work, supervises the performance of the pastoral staff, ensures the development of skills and talents for the pastoral staff by providing coaching, training opportunities and supports ministry partners in facilitation of ministry, programs and project activities.
 

Rev. Rochelle holds a Masters of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary, a Masters of Social Work from the University of Illinois and a Bachelors of Sociology Degree from Northeastern Illinois University. She is currently enrolled in the African-Centered Religious Thought and Ministry Doctor of Ministry program at McCormick Theological Seminary.

 

Rev. Rochelle is a world traveler and enjoys theater, concerts, comedy, reading and dancing. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 34, “I will bless the Lord at all times, God’s praises shall continually be in my mouth, my soul shall make her boast in the Lord. The humble shall hear thereof and be glad. Oh magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together.”
